Mixed Conditionals
Use mixed conditionals to connect a past condition with a present result (and vice versa).
- Past → Present: Explain a present situation with a past cause.
- Present → Past: Imagine a different past caused by a present trait.

- Kalıp 1 (Past → Present): If + past perfect, would + V.
- Kalıp 2 (Present → Past): If + past simple, would have + V3.
- had + V3: Gerçek geçmişte olmadı.
- would + V: Şimdi hayali sonuç.
- would have + V3: Geçmişte hayali sonuç.
- Kural: If cümlesinde would yok; sonuç cümlesinde var.

- Trap 1 — would in if-clause: ❌ "If I would have studied" → ✅ "If I had studied, I would be…"
- Neden: If cümlesinde would olmaz.
- Trap 2 — Zaman karıştırmak: ❌ "If I studied harder, I would be a doctor" → ✅ "If I had studied harder, I would be a doctor."
- Neden: Geçmiş sebep için "had studied" şarttır.
- Trap 3 — will yerine would: ❌ "I will live in Berlin" → ✅ "I would live in Berlin."
- Neden: Hayali sonuçta will değil would kullanılır.
