Rule in 60 secondsThe one pattern to memorise.
- Kural 1: Geniş zaman: I/you/we/they + V (I work), he/she/it + V-s (she works).
- Kural 2: Olumsuz: don't / doesn't + V. Soru: Do / Does + özne + V?
- Kural 3: Sıklık zarfları (always, usually, often, sometimes, never) fiilden önce gelir.
- Kural 4: Ama be fiilinden sonra gelir:
She is always late.
- Kural 5: 3. tekil şahıs kuralı sadece olumlu cümlede -s ister.
- Kural 6: Olumsuz ve soruda -s düşer çünkü işareti do/does taşır.

- 3. tekil şahısta -s unutma: en klasik hata — ✗ He go to work. → ✓ He goes to work; ✗ She like apples. → ✓ She likes apples — Kontrol: özne he/she/it mi, Evet → fiile -s.
- doesn't'tan sonra -s yok: ek bir kere gelir — ✗ She doesn't likes coffee. → ✓ She doesn't like coffee; ✗ He doesn't goes out. → ✓ He doesn't go out — Mantık: doesn't zaten -s işaretini taşıyor (does = do + es).
- Soruda da -s yok: Does zaten işareti taşır — ✗ Does she works here? → ✓ Does she work here; ✗ Do he play chess? → ✓ Does he play chess — Do/does seçimi özneye göre, fiil hep yalın.
